With due respect to both Mark (great site!) and Cheryl, I have to agree with Mike that there needs to be a more permanent, book-version of the Seamans Family History available to researchers. The internet is a great tool and I have collected and shared a lot of data using the interent, but I gathered more family history from local libraries and Family History Centers. And the three Seamanses that provided me with the most info on my particular branch don't even have access to the internet.

Would publishing a book be easier than hosting a website? No. Would it be a lot of work? Yes. Costly? You bet. But if we could get enough researchers interested, publishing a book would be a very worthy project.

Besides, it's easier to read a book in bed than a computer.
