Starting Sept. 30, 2014, Genealogy.com will be making a big change. GenForum message boards, Family Tree Maker homepages, and the most popular articles will be preserved in a read-only format, while several other features will no longer be available, including member subscriptions and the Shop.

Berna:

I come from the line John Seamans (b. abt 1645), Joseph Seamans (b. 1683 or 93 Lancaster Co. VA), Ephraim Seamans/Seamands (b 1718 Richmond Co. VA), Jonathan Seamands (b. 1756 in Caroline Co. VA).

Ephraim had several sons, so it may be that your Jonathan is a son of one of Ephraim's other sons or even a son of my Jonathan.

Al
