I have information on your Lydia Seamans. She married my Great Uncle William Thompson Tippen(s) in Limestone County, AL in 1881. The had 5 children, one died. The 4 living children were: Georgia(Georgie) b. Sept 1882 Mattie b. Sept 1886 Jack Riley b. Feb 22, 1890 and Otis Guy b. Feb 19, 1893 all in Alabama. Soon After Otis was born they moved to Hunt County, TX. Liddy and William both died in Hunt County, TX. Both Jack and Otis served in WWI. I will have to look back through my record and find Mattie's husbands name.

When they lived in Limestone County Liddy's brother, Marshall, lived next door to them. Do you find any record for a Riley or Levi Seamans? I was told Liddy had brothers by those names. May be that they were called by their middle names and not their first names, not sure though.

Hope this fills in some of the blanks for you.

Sheral Tippens Lewis
