If your ancestor came from Missouri I would say he they were Seneys. Seneys came to Macon County in the 1830s just northeast of Glasgow.
I have a Lewis born in the 1850s that could be him but unfortunately we have no other information on him.
I'll keep looking. Any other clues ?
