Thank you for continuing to look. All info is helpful (the more th better). I still dont know if the Seath name currently in Fife and that in Kent are truly connected or have just coincidentally appeared but we have to look and get as much info together as possible.

Guppy stated that SEATH (Kent) means 'dweller by the pit or pool' whereas the Fife name is derived from Shaw in Gaelic and means 'the wolf' so thats the first discrepancy - but we just dont know.

Thanks for the info. Im collating it and intend to start looking for connections.
