My e-mail address is at work and it is:
skidwell@ccbc.cc.md.us

My parents were both from Virginia. Mom from Alexandria and Dad from the Fairfax area.

The fact that your family was/is still in Virginia in the same areas where my Dad grew up makes me think we have to be looking for the same Sebastian family.

I did wonder about the Adamson links. I think a lot of older families did this. In my Kidwell research, Kidwells were always marrying their cousins. It makes it difficult to untangle sometimes.

I tried the Mormon site (www.familysearch.org) and looked under Lyddane, thinking I might find Charles Lyddane and through him find Maude Sebastian. Didn't find him, but found a Margaret Lyddane born Sept. 19, 1861 in Maryland and died Aug. 27, 1884 in Wash,DC. It shows her married to Roseo Ignacious Varnell. Could this be a cousin? This persons parents were Thomas & Mary Ann Lyddane.
