Benjamin Sebastian II, who became a Judge in the Kentucky Court of Appeals and who was active in "The Spanish Conspiracy" was the son of Benjamin I, a Fairfax County, VA lawyer. I don't know anything about his early years, before arriving in Kentucky about 1784. A book in the Salt Lake City Family History Library called "The Chronicle of a Southern Family" by Wm. Hobart Sebastian has quite a bit of info about the conspiracy and the trial of Sebastian. It was written in 1972 and apparently was printed privately, so might be hard to find elsewhere.
