My family (Kidwell) comes from Fairfax, Virginia, back to 1600's. My great-grandfather William M. Kidwell married a Susan Sebastian in the early 1800's. We have always believed she was Spanish. I have nothing on her, but she is buried in Flint Hill cemetary near Oakton, Va. There were Sebastians in Washington, DC., and Virginia at least as recently as 1940's. I suspect they may have been merchants or well-to-do people from old Georgetown (now part of Wash,DC) Do you have more data on the Sebastians that you could share? It has to be the same family. Thanks!
