I think clearly Lewis Sebastian and Betsy Alexander were never married. A distant relative sent me the text of the court appearance and I found Lewis married that same year, but from the later records of George being "farmed" to Benjamin (the same person sent me the text of George's indenture at his mother's death) indicate that Lewis was not married to Betsy. Lewis shows up later in Scott Co., KY with his family.

As for Catherine Wiggins, I haven't yet found actual documents for her family. I'm basing my identification on the Wiggins family that I found living in Wilkes Co. (and later in Scott Co., KY) at the time. They show up on tax lists in the early period in Wilkes Co., for example. They also appear to be the only Wiggins family in the area at the time.
