Hello Jean; My maiden name is Bastian. I was born in Williamsport, Lycoming Co., Pa.My father's name was Jacob Harold; His father was Dr. C.B. Bastian; His father was Dr. John Bastian and his father was Henry, son of Jacob. One account is the original, George or George Michael was a Count Sebastian; May have been from Alsase and came over to port of Phila. about l749. I haven't been able to get any further.

Sandy P.S. My Bastians all lived in Newberry, Upper Fairfield Township, White Deer etc. near Williamsport. Jacob for one was in the Revolutionary War and there were others from Snyder Co. Pa.
