I have been studying the SIBBONS name from 1841 Census based on area around Hadleight, Suffolk. I am descended from John Sibbons, born Bryngwyn,Monmouthshire 1789. This is the only recorded family in the whole of Wales. I suspect either John or a forbear came from the Suffolk branch. Do you have any news/ideas?

From where does the name/meaning of SIBBONS come from?

I live in Spain but have an English address also if you need to get in tiouch other than by email: bobwright@avired.com

Looking forward to hearing from you.

Bob Wright
