On 10 Jun 1848, Edmund S. Sebree entered a Federal land patent for 40 acres in Ray County, Missouri. He entered the patent at the Plattsburg office in Clinton Co., MO. He is described as being "of Ray County, Illinois," on the document, but there is no Ray county in Illinois, so it's not clear if he was from Ray Co., MO or from IL.
