Two parts of the Sebree family came to Ky.
inthe early 1800's Both were decended from
Richard Sebree of Northumberland Cty, Va.
Ricard Sebree 111 & Uriel settled in what is
now Scott Cty, Ky. There is still a "Sebree
Pike" in Stamping Ground, Ky. From there they
or their decendants moved to Franklin & Kenton Cty.
Fendol J Sebree migrated to Trenton, Todd Cty
Ky. in 1813. He had Several children, one
of which was Elijah G Sebree. He owned
slaves. He also developed the St Bernard
Coal Co. & the Evansville & Nashville RR
Sebree Ky then known as Sebree Springs was
was named for him. There is also a Sebree
St. in Earlington
