There is a John Sebree that was the first settler in DeKalb County, Illinois. There is a cemetary (the first in the county) located near Sandwich, Illinois that has 14 SEBREE's from the early 1800's buried there.

I have always wondered if I was a decendant of that family and I guess now would be a good time to find out.

I will take a field trip out to the cemetery this weekend and get some Names and dates to see it it will help anyone.
