Hi,

It was Guy "Stephen" Secord who left Canada for Austrailia and New Zealand. Stephen was born in 1833 in Ontario, Canada and left Canada when he was only 18 years old. He married, in 1871, an English girl who had arrived in New Zealand in 1850. Stephen is definately related to the James Secord who married Laura Ingersoll.
