Hi everyone:
I hope someone can help me trace my husband's ggrandparents. This a been a brick wall for some time and just can't pull any bricks away to see the light on the other side.
His grandmother is Helen (Audrey, we think) Secord married a Frederick Arthur Barnes in 1935,of Brantford, Ontario, Canada.
Also looking for siblings and ancestors of Reginald and possibly Hazel.
Helen's parents are Reginald Floyd Secord and Hazel May Linnington, we believe also of Brantford, Ontario.
Children of Reginald & Hazel (Linnington) Secord are:
1.) Walter Secord b. 1915 in Brantford, Ontario
2.) Helen Secord b. Dec 27, 1917 in Brantford Ontario;
3.) Doris May Secord b. 1922 in Brantford, Ontario
Any help would be greatly appreciated. Not sure if related to Laura Ingersol Secord of 1812?
Hoping to start filling in this tree with twigs and increasing to larger branches whenever possible.
