Looking for a Henry Secrest, son of Bartholomew and Eve Siegrist, who came to America in 1727 on the ship James Goodwill. Have not found him listed anywhere as their son except in information from within my family (specifically, one Raymond M. Secrest of Senecaville, OH) and LDS church records. Henry was purportedly born 1730 in Lancaster Co., PA and died in 1799. Henry was supposed to have had 2 wives, name of first wife unknown (by whom he had 5 children)and to a 2nd wife Anna Maria, by whom he had 8 children, one of whom was Frederick b. 1754. Frederick is my direct ancestor (of this there is no doubt). This is driving me crazy as Henry in NOT mentioned in the wills of either Bartholomew or Eve nor is there any record of him anywhere else that I can find. Am beginning to think he was someone else's son. HELP!
