Thank you for responding to my Zeeryp inquiry. Since I posted that message, I have found the info I needed on the Zeeryp family in Michigan and have met Alma (Zeeryp) Gardner, daughter of Louie Zeeryp, from that area in Michigan. My mother-in-law is a grandchild of Rinder and Bertha Zeeryp and daughter to Albert. Albert left Michigan in the early 1900's and changed his last name to Carson, so we had very little to go on. The only thing we had was an old marriage certificate with the name of Albert Seeripe on it. My mother-in-law is thrilled and now has a family she knew nothing about before Sept. of last year. At the age of 73, it has opened up a whole new world for her.
You said your father and gfather's name was Harry. Was your ggrandfather Richard Zeeryp, brother to Rinder? If so, Albert was close and occasionally corresponded with your grandfather Harry. When Alma and Hank Gardner visited with us in Oct. we saw some family pictures which included Harry, son of Richard.
