James, Thankyou for the rest of the family group. The only additional information I have is the death dates for the parents Vine and Susan: Vine Seagers d. 11 Dec. 1872. Susan Seagers wife of Vine d. 13 Feb 1860. From Mt Pleasant cemetery records, Westfield, Tioga County NY.From the same source I have the wife of Vine M. as Catherine C., d. 15 Oct 1860.
I believe Altheda went west to Mower County Minn. with her children and her diseased husbands father Hiram Tubbs after 1860. The Wellsboro Ajitator lists Hiram Tubbs Sr.'s death in Mower County Minnesota 31 Dec. 1878.
I have nothing else on the Seagers family, and would like to know where in Mass. Vine and Susan were from.
The spelling I have for Altheda comes from a grandaughter having the same name, although the census record says "Alphida"
Did John Henry stay in PA? Thanks!...Sarah
