I know that Otto Seidler came to NYC in about 1863. I have not found any additional information on his family (siblings or parents).

One census record I have found notes he came from Hannover, another Baden. I know his wife came from Hannover. The only reason I have been able to locate the Seidler's on so many consistent census records is that they really lived in only two houses throughout their lives in Brooklyn: Devoe and Metropolitan Aves. I wish everyone else I am researching had been that considerate.

Other names associated with the Siedler family are Fritz and Schaeffer. This may help your family in making a connection. Looking forward to hearing from you
