Seiglers who lived in Texas and Oklahoma

Although all the family Seiglers originally came from South Carolina, for some reason several Seigler families first moved to Texas in the late 1800s/early 1900s and then moved to the area around Lawton, OK. My mother's father (my grandfather) was HENRY A. SEIGLER (born 1872) and he was married to Francis A. HOVIS Seigler. I'm pretty sure that his parents were ELI & SARAH ANN BANKS SEIGLER. In the 1930 census both my Grandmother and Grandfather lived in Lawton...but not together. He left my grandmother and family and lived as a border with his niece Pearl Seigler Saxon for awhile. I would like to find out when and where he died. I can't seem to track down any records after 1930. Anyone know WHY several of the Seigler families migrated to Oklahoma by the early 1900s?
