Just read your message and hope there is a break in my "brick wall"!! Martha J. Seigler married my gggrandfather, Andrew May. I found them first in the 1860 Census of Franklin Co., Ga., with their children and Elizabeth Smith, age 80, born in S.C. Andrew was in the Civil War and the family was not in any 1870 Census. They appeared again in 1880 Census of Madison Co., Ga. with an 18 year old son, J. D. and I have found no trace of Andrew, Martha or their son, J. D. since that 1880 Census. Is there any possibility that Martha J. Seigler would be in the Seigler SC Family Book? She is listed on the census (and Andrew, also) of being born in S.C. Any help would be most appreciated. I'm getting old and running out of time to do research.
