Seipel's from Germany

hello..i am researching my mother's father's family. the name they use is Seipel(not sure of past spelling). I have traced it as far back to a Philipp(phillip?) Seipel(my great-great grandfather) who came over as a stowaway on a ship to avoid the Bismark German Conscription. It is said he came from Hesseldorf Germany. His parents were Conrad Seipel(?) and Mary Vilhelms(?). He married Mary Schalk on November 9, 1880 at St. Josephs Hill in Jeffersonville Indiana. They had three children in Indiana and followed a wagon train and ended up around Graham MO. They had three more children and stayed around the Nodaway County MO area. I am trying to find information on the family in Germany. if anyone has any info, or any search tips, please contact me at heatherheather74@yahoo.com or reply to this message. put seipel in the subject line as not to be mistaken for junk mail. thank you, heather
