Thanks Roy for replying

The following maybe confusing, but somewhere along the line Angelina SEIPEL became Angeline SEIWELL.

Back in 1977 when I first started doing research, my cousin had an interview with Bessie Mae [HANKINS] Potter, daughter of Almira Jane [BITLER] HANKINS, who was a daughter of Angeline [SEIWELL] BITLER. In passing Bessie stated that a Belle SEIWELL of 418 E. Walnut Street, Hazleton, PA was a cousin of Almira Jane.

Just recently I found a Bella SEIWELL on the SSDeath Index. Seems Bella never married. Her birth date 17 Mar 1885, and death Feb 1972 in NY.
In the 1930c for Mahonoy, Schuykill Co., PA there was listed a Tillman SEIWELL, age 77, (1853) his wife Harriet, age 74 and BELLA age 38 (1892) is listed as daughter. (Seven year discrepancy between SSD and census)

In the 1850c Butler Twp., Luzerne Co., there is listed a John age 40 & Catherine age 35 SEIPLE with a very large family. Samuel 20, Stephen 17, Eliza 16, Maria 15, Susan 10, Magdalena 9, Joseph 6, Henry 4, James 2. I believe Angeline and Barbara could possibly fit age wise in this family between Maria and Susan.

In the 1860c Butler Twp., Luzerne Co., John & Catherine SEIWELL (appear to be the same family as listed SEIPLE in the 1850c) have their family listed as Samuel 30, Joseph 11, Catherine 8, Maria 28, Tillman 6. (Making the Tillman of the 1930c about the right age and thus creating the scenario that Almira Jane [BITLER] HANKINS and Belle/Bella SEIWELL were cousins.

It also turns out that the Elizabeth Rittenhouse wife of Cornelius was a SEIWELL and other internet databases have suggested that she Elizabeth was the daughter of John Micheal SEIPLE/SEIWELL, son of Valentine son of Johann Michael Seibel. All have connections to Montgomery Co. PA

At the moment I think Elizabeth SEIWELL Rittenhouse and John SEIWELL were brother and sister and Angelina Seiple was visiting her Aunt with the 1850c was taken. That is my guess at the moment.
