Thanks for your reply. The Susannah Seiple I am looking for was born the same date as indicated in your reply., May 14, 1807. According to Mercer County, PA burial records she died January 23, 1895. However, my Susannah was married to Thomas Unangst who was born in 1809, somewhere in Pennsylvania, and died in 1880 in Mercer County, PA. On some census records Susannah is shown as Susan, but Thomas's will shows her name as Susannah. Thomas and Susannah had a son named Isaac born in 1835 but I don't know the location of his birth. He died in 1908 in Mercer County. I have been unable to locate a death certificate for him. Another son, George A. born April 1, 1837 died February 23, 1922. George's death certificate shows his father to be Thomas Unangst and his mother Susan Seiple. All show being born in Pennsylvania with no specific town or county shown. The Mercer County Historical Society has very little information for Thomas and Susannah but it matches the information I have developed from other sources on my own. Thomas and Susannah were my grt grt grt grandparents. Their son Isaac was my grt grt grandfather.

I have looked at the Seiple Family web site and found nothing I can use up to this point. Is it possible that the Susannah Seiple in you response was married to Thomas Unangst and not to Isaac?

Bill Unangst
