August SEIBEL's children spelled it SEBILLE. There are not many in the states with that spelling. 122 pages of Civil War records showed how the changing came about.In order to draw her pension they left the spelling SEBILLE, because it caused so much confusion. Therefore her four boys spelled it SEIBEL. August' brother kept the spelling SEIBEL.
