Isaac and Rebekah Sellers
I'm trying to find any information on my 6th great-grandparents Isaac and Rebekah Sellers. Isaac was the son of Samuel Sellers and resided in Hopewell twp., Cumberland Co. PA from 1768 until about 1776 when he was mentioned in the will of his father. He next appears in tax records in Woodford Co. KY with his brother John. He also had a brother Samuel who served in the Rev War in Western PA and eventually settled in Harrison Co., KY where he was a schoolmaster. His brother John was taken prisoner at Ruddle's Station in KY in 1780 but was able to escape. He had left his family near Louisville KY at the time.I have been unable to find any record of Isaac between the years of 1777-1790 and I would really like to find out what he was up to at that time. There was some mention of a "Sellers family" taken at Ruddles but I have found no proof that Isaac was there only his brother John. I hope someone can help.
