Hi Cousin Randy:
I have all the information you need on Robert Levi Sellers, backwards to 1769. Robert is my great-grandfather's brother.
Robert Levi Sellers - born: Sept 1, 1871, Lavaca County, Tx.
Died: June 7, 1952, San Antonio, Tx.
He was married three times: Estelle Houck, Abi Evans, and Martha McGee. He must have been a good looking guy into his old age.
His parents are: William Harvey Sellers and Mary Jane Tolbert.
William Harvey: Born Jan. 15, 1846, died: May 14, 1933.
William Harvey's parents are:
William Isaac Sellers (b: Dec. 11, 1820, d: Feb. 10, 1848) and Lucinda Jane Cooke (b: Dec. 27, 1823, d: Feb. 15, 1891).
Not to be confused with William Harvey's son: William Isaac Sellers, (b: March 30, 1869, d: Aug 26, 1950.)
William Isaac's parents are:
Isaac Sellers (b: 1769, d: Jan. 12, 1830, Columbia Tenn)
Judieth Johnson:(b: 1772, d: Nov. 10, 1847, Columbia Tenn.) (affectionately known as "Judah")
Isaac Seller's ancestors came from England sometime between 1680 and 1700. Judieth's ancestor came from Scotland in that same time.
We are confident, but lack hard proof, that Isaac Seller's father was James T. Sellers.
James T. Sellers: B: ~1750, Chatham, N.C., d: sometime after 1804, buried Chatham, N.C.
Wife: Patience.
I have a copy of James' will.
I have pictures of Isaac and Judieth Seller's gravestones.
I have a copy of a Civil War questionaire filled out by Isaac's grandson, where he gives the details of his grandfather.
Well Randy, it's been 6 years since your post, but if you don't have this stuff yet, and you're still interested, I'm sure you're glad to see this!
