The 1850 Chesterfield County Census shows household 713, as follows: SELLERS, DAVID age 35m farmer born SC
Sarah 10f SC
John 9m SC
Alexander 7m SC
Betsy 6f SC
Susannah 4f SC

Believe this DAVID SELLERS to be the father of WILLIAM DAVID SELLERS b.Mar 10 1849 d.Dec 30 1933, buried at Crossroads Baptist Church, Ruby, SC. Believe Sarah married JOHN H EDDINS and relocated to Cabarrus,NC, where they were living in the 1860 and 1870 census. Believe JOHN SELLERS also relocated to Cabarrus County NC where he lived in 1860 in the household of LEVI BELL. He enlisted in CO.B, 20th NC INFANTRY at FORT JOHNSON, NC. The final report in his military file states: "Wounded and left in the hands of the enemy, May 12, 1864." ANY INFO RE. THIS DAVID SELLERS OR CHILDREN WILL BE GREATLY APPRECIATED.
