My g,g,g grandfather was Zachariah G. Wheeler. He was a Seminole War Vet. He joined Captain Holloman's Co, Jefferson Co., Fl on 03/03/1836, as a private. The next documation we have on him is again from the Indian War index. This muster rolls states an enlistment at Monticello, FL in 1837 of 4 mths as a 2nd corporal in Smith's Company, 9th Regiment of the Florida Mounted Militia FL War.

We found some of this information under Seminole Wars. Hope this information will be of some help to you.

Thanks,
Norma Ausburn
