By way of political accuracy, in the 1870 the Senger's originated in a country called Prussia (Preussen); they were and remain ethnic German (not Polish). If you look for them using Poland as country of origin you will have a great deal of difficulty finding anything useful. The area where most of them lived was Westpreussen, Zeyer or Danzig.

I hope this helps... btw. my mother is a Senger (meine Mutter ist ein Senger aus Zeyervorderkampen Westpreussen).
