Hi Renee,

My son is also doing some digging. He has found three volumes published in the 1500-1600s on the Teutonic knights. He's attempting to gain read access to these materials. During the early phases of WW2 some of my mom's family had to research their family tree in order to obtain government approval for a marriage. That reseach is long since destroyed by the Russian invasion of Danzig, however, we do know that it went back to the crusades and that the Senger's were in the original land grant provided following one the those middle-east excursions. It may be possible to verify that through these volumes. I'll let everyone in this discussion group know if we do succeed and ind some interesting information.

Happy New Year!
