Jo Ann,
I am a descendant of a Sentner family of Prince Edward Island (PEI), Canada. The Sentner immigrant to PEI, Gottlip/Caleb/Philip Sentner, arrived there sometime in the late 1700s, possibly as a Loyalist from America. It is estimated that he was born ca. 1738 and died about 1801. His wife was named Mary _______, and he had at least two sons, Caleb, b.c. 1756 and George b.c. 1780. The son Caleb was married to Mary Judson/Jetson in 1798 on PEI. The son George married Ann (Nancy) Judson/Jetson in 1805 on PEI. Both were daughters of William Judson/Jetson. The Judson/Jetsons of PEI are believed to be a New York family (see web site "Island Register"). Does your study of the Zentner/Sentner/Centner family of New York suggest any connection to these families of PEI? I would be very interested to know if that is the case. Thanks.
