Hello Nathaniel,
My husband's family has been looking for you.We saw an old posting of yours from several years ago and wanted to contact you.My husband is Dennis Senyard, son of Albert Senyard, who was the oldest son of Burt Charles Senyard. Burt's other children were Jack (John), Walter and Clara Mae.Supposedly there was a fifth child, but that is unconfirmed.Burt was my husband's grandfather and Clara Mae was his great aunt.Dennis has a half brother Larry, son of Albert also. We've been trying to find anything we can about Burt but have hit a dead end.We have found Burt's grave in Wheatridge, Co.We also live in Colorado. He's buried there with his last wife, Elsie Arnold.Burt died 4-15-1966 at the age of 90.He died of acute leukemia. We were able to get his death certificate when we found out where he was buried.Do you know anything about where he was born?In one census he said New York and on his death certificate it said Chicago, Ill.I've also found when he married Ada Mae Martin (the mother of Albert, Jack, Walter and Clara Mae), Dennis and Butch's grandmother in 1911.We can't find anything about him before 1911.That's the first mention we can find of him and he's already 35 years old.He had to have been somewhere but we can't find out where it was.We can't find any trace of his father either. On a Social Security form he listed his father's name as John but we can't find a John Senyard that fits the time frame. We would greatly appreciate it if you'd write back and let us know if you have any more information.I corresponded with Corinna for quite awhile until I lost contact with her. She's the grandaughter of Jack Senyard.I got quite a bit of information from her and was able to give her quite a bit. This is like a mystery to me and, since I'm a librarian, I love research.I've gotten hooked on the finding answers. So we'd love to hear from you.
