Servats in Argentina

I recently received an invitation from Rosalita Servat, in Brazil, inviting me to a worldwide family reunion. In excess of 100 members were expected to attend.
Unfortunately I couldn't come (I live in Sydney, Australia since 1992) but that invitation did boost my interest in knowing about the family's history.
I was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina, in 1947. My grandfather was Juan Bautista Servat, who was one of the sons of a french lady we all called 'madame' (I was a kid), who spoke only french and lived in Argentina until she passed away.
My father is called Juan (like me), and, based on the number of members called 'Juan' I found in your brief email, it seems that Juan was the name of choice in the family!
I only know that my part of the family started in the Basque zone in the south of France but I'm excited to know more about the Peru and US connection.
Any information about the Servat family elsewhere in the world will be greatly appreciated.
Best regards,
Juan Carlos Servat
