I am looking for information on my gg grandmother Elizabeth Seth. The only info I have is that she married Byard Seth in December 1850 in Cherry Hill, Cecil County, Maryland. According to the census she was born in PA. Sometime before 1860 the Ashbys had moved to Chestnut Level, Fulton Twp, Lancaster County, PA. In 1870 they were in Hopewell, Chester County, PA, and by 1878 were in Linwood, Delaware County, PA. I have no idea how Seth & Ashby met. In the 1850 census Byard Ashby was listed living in a rooming house & was a mill worker in Cherry Hill, MD.
Also Pennsylvania Dutch land is rather large encompassing several counties. Are you referring to Pennsylvania Germans in general or those whose religions are Anabaptist (Mennonite, Amish, Brethren, etc)?
