Seths of Hong Kong or Macao 1800s

It's a long shot. My greatgrandfather was Samuel Seth [1850's?]. Tradition has it that he was of Armenian Jewish descent. Lived in Hong Kong and was Chief Interpreter in the Supreme Court there. Travelled to Guyana and represented the Chinese in the courts there.
I have talked to a Frank Seth in Australia whose ancestry supposedly of Jewish descent was located originally in Rangoon, Burma.
I think there may be Seths in Macao.
Anyone knows Seths in the Far East or those of Jewish descent?
