Isaac, James, John SEVERANCE 1799 ~Caroline + George SEVERANCE 1952 of Derby, VT

On pg. 34 Chapter 8 - Qualified as Freemen 1798-1811 - taking oath required by law March 27, 1799 - were Isaac Severance and James Severance - also a John Severans On
pg.13 The Ryan Farm (in 1967) overlooking Lake Salem, [Vermont] for many yrs. owned by the Severens family (could "possibly" be another spelling of the same name -???), whose ancestor, Nathaniel Sevrens, came from NH in 1832 and settled on the west shore of the lake.
In a letter received from his granddaughter, Mrs.Glen Sevrens Morrill, was a letter which she had written to VT Life Mag' after its Autumn 1952 pub' of the story of the hidden treasure - names mentioned - Caroline and George N. Sevrens.
