I just recently found that my husband is a direct descendent of Julien-Charles Sevigny dit Lafleur, through their son, Joseph, and his son, Pierre. This line eventually landed in Colraine, MA, in the 1860s. I am very interested in anything on the descendents (and ancestors) of Gilles, to see what there is and if there is anything I can contribute from our line. I tried your suggested web sites, but having a hard time finding Sevignys in particular. Not sure what I'm doing wrong.
