Thanks for the response. I tried the LDS site. I have used it many times; however, I used Sevene, not Sevigny. I was pleased with the info. I found this time. Will try the other suggested sites tomorrow.

I am having a hard time finding my Pierre Sevigny, b. 1812-1818?, m. 1838, Genevieve Dugrenier, St. Pie de Bagot, Que., Que. We believe he is the first generation to the U.S.
