I suspect that J.B. Sevigny's father is really the Norbert listed as having married Clerce Joannice at "DAME" and in the Cathedrale D'Ottawa 25-09-1852. The name Claire Joannise (also given in another repertoire as Claire Joanis for a different child with Norbert)and the 30 years between the marriages points to this. Norbert's parents were Pierre & Marie Landry, Clerice's parents were Jean Baptiste & Adee Roi. I will check for Pierre and Marie Landry in my Quebec records tonight. I can also send you some of the children's marriages if you wish.
