Tyler,
Good to hear from a cousin in Michigan, there are Sevignys living in most of the states these days. All are descended from Julien-Charles de Sevigne who came to Quebec about 1688. He married Marguerite Rognon 18 April 1695 in Neuville (Pte-Aux-Trembles), Portneuf Cty., Québec, Canada. They had 11 children and I am descended from the parents 3 times.
You need to supply the maiden names for your mother, grandmother, greatgrandmother etc. for us to try and trace your lines back to Julien Charles.
Regards,
Cousin Mike Sevigny, Winooski, Vermont
