The following is from Robert Chenard's list of Sevigny marriages in Maine:
Other Sévigny families not fully traced:

B2       M.-Hélène       06 Oct       1924       Félix-Emery Nadeau       Old Town(St.Jos.)       
Since he lists your mother's sister's marriage it appears that their parents are as you said.
I will have to try and look at the Vermont vital statistics records again to see if I can find this marriage. I think I have looked under Sevigny, so I will try Homestead.
I let you know what I find next week.
