I was able to find some of my Sevigny family ancestors thanks to Paul Lavoie's website. Worth the visit!

I am Lise Sevigny, daughter of Lucien Sevigny (b.1928-06-14)
Lucien is son of Joseph Sevigny (1896-03-19) Joseph is son of Alfred Sevigny, son of Norbert Sevigny, son of Pierre Sevigny and Marie Landry. This line is mentioned on Paul's website along with some dates.

It seems all the members of this line were married in Ottawa, Canada. Pierre, Norbert, Alfred and Joseph (Adeline "Jeanne" Chevrier) were married at Notre Dame Cathedral in Ottawa. Lucien was married at St. Francois d'Assise, Ottawa to Georgina Artelle in 1952. I was married at Christ-Roi, Ottawa in 1979 to Fred Roberts. I've retained my Sevigny name. All of Joseph's 9 children remained in the Ottawa area, and all have died now.

Like many of you, I am stuck at Pierre & Marie Landry. Any new information? Merci!
