Seeking info re: my geneology. Research has found the following:
Evanglist John Sevene b. 1852, d.1926, married Mary Morin (Mi'kmaq) b.1862, d. 1941 from VT., Canada area. Evanglist John had two brothers, who spelled last name "Sevigny" and were from the VT area. Evanglist had 7 children: George, William, Anna Mary, Joseph, Henry, David, Gerry or Jerry. Henry was my grand father.
Any info or leads appreciated. Do not know when or why spelling of name became varied.
