Peter's wife, Jane, is buried in Colrain, MA.Her headstone reads Jane D., wife of Peter Seiveigne. We've never seen this spelling since.Peter's death and burial place is unknown.
Family lore says these Sevene's were originally from Sherbrooke, Que., Canada.John Sevene and his brothers (loggers who worked with horses), supposedly, walked over the border (into VT?) to the U.S.John eventually settled in Colrain, MA.Also, it is said John's mother, Louisa, was Indian. Any information about these Sevenes would be greatly appreciated.
