Thank you very much for the info! I have suspected that Mary J. Sewell was Mary Jane Veazie for years. I'll have to get up to Corinna.

With regard to Charles E. Sewell (son of James and Mary J Sewell): alas, he died in 1892, and his headstone in Elmwood Cemetery, Caton, NY, is not too far from the headstones of Mary J. (nee Veazie) Sewell, and Dot Sewell, the daughter of Albert Sewell (son of James' brother Dominicus Sewell and Mary Jane's sister Martha H. Veazie).
