Recently received info of marriage in Montague, TX 1877 of W H SEWELL and Mary Hart. There is a Symna cemetery in Montague, Texas (borders Oklahoma) that indicates John and Sarah SEWELL are buried there. Upon checking 1860 census, this couple had one child named William H. born around 1845. In 1860 they lived in McNairy, Tenn. Does anyone know this family? A Sewell fathered 7 children in the Texas/Indian Territory between 1878-1895. His children were left with neighbors before the 1900 census in Marshall county (Indian Territory). Any information would be greatly appreciated. He farmed or laborer in this area for twenty years.
