After digging through what we believe to be every bit of available internet information over the past SEVERAL months, we're still torn on the subject on the parents of Rebecca Sewell who married John Fears in Pulaski County, Kentucky and died in Vigo County, Indiana. It appears that about half of those researching the family believe she was the daughter of Abraham Sewell while the other half believe she was the daughter of Dawson Sewell. Dawson and Abraham were brothers and were both in North Carolina when Rebecca was born and in Pulaski County, Kentucky when she married John Fears. Does anyone have any documentation to support either side or is everyone going on guesswork?
