Please help,anyone!I am looking for any information on my father,Alton Leon Sewell,born April 29th,1921,in Granite Oklahoma.I think his dad was Fredrick,and his mother was Clara. I believe this was their names,but I have no way of knowing other than remembering hearing the names when I was small. My parents died recently,within a year of eachother.Dad first,then Mom.Just before my mother passed,I asked her where the Heritage records were,for our family.She said they had burned in a fire years ago,and she hadnt gotten them replaced yet. The others in the family dont know much either,other than Mom and Dad.Any info on our grandparents,on either side doesnt exist,due to the fact that we were not close,by any means.Meaning that the parents werent close to the other members of the family.I only knew my grandparents by name,on one side.Not on my fathers side,but for mention. Now that the two parents are gone,..it leaves us three kids and their kids with nothing.Somehow I have to fix this situation. There are two other generations growing up at this time,and we need to find anything we can about my family,my father Leon,especially. If I can find out who his parents were,then I can rebuild our family lineage.If anyon e has any information,any lines of communication I can try,please let me know.
